Sean Barcial
“I am happy with my performance this weekend, when we started the practice I felt great and was already on the lead, and then I was aggressive enough on the first 4 laps of race 1 and 2 and trying my best to break away from the group to gain more distance. I was trying to calm myself and tried to make no mistakes and managed to race and finish strong. I feel I had the advantage since I am familiar with the track and my experience in taking the full cours of CIS. I would like to thank all the sponsors, Honda Philippines, and specially my brother James in giving me tips and pointers on how to take the proper shifting and what to do inside the track.”
Jakob Sablaya:
“As [my] first time to run at CIS, Friday, I studied my racing line practice 1, I became more familiar, I tried to study the gearing. Even though, I placed 2nd, I still secured important points and still managed to take the overall points. I will study more [of] my racing line and review my performance. I will take this as a lesson and fight for the 1st place at round 4. I would like to thank God that [for] he always guides me, and especially to my Father and Mother, who supports me in my dream as a racer.”
Kervie Bergania:
”My performance improved a lot because of practice and pointers I got in round 3. I was gradually picking up speed and getting the racing line. However, I am still not satisfied with my result but I will do my best on the 4th round. This race needs more endurance since we are going full course, compared last year we only did the west course. Anything can happen during the race that is why on the next round I will improve my time. I would like to thank my family for supporting me na nagpalakas ng loob ko na galingan ko pa sa track. I would like to thank Honda Philippines for this big improvement in my riding skill”.
